Adrenal and Thyroid: Pearls You Need to Know

Hi!

I am so excited to share this webinar and THESE POWERFUL IDEAS with you.

No matter what they do, your clients struggle with low energy, perhaps weight gain, fatigue, feeling cold, and maybe elevated LDL cholesterol? They are likely among the millions who suffer from poor thyroid function, usually in partnership with adrenal gland dysfunction. Learn more about these two powerful glands, the primary controllers of our metabolism and stress response.

Learn why those who are diagnosed still suffer while taking typical thyroid medications. Learn what key nutrients can give them revolutionary results. What foods can aggravate a hypothyroid patient. What supplements can cause problems. And for many folks without a diagnosis, why that “normal” thyroid test is not telling your client the truth about their body. In this Deep Dive Clinical Course, I will help you to feel confident advising your clients on what tests to ask their doctor to complete instead.

Please do share below what most resonated with you in this video – I am very interested in what you think.

Thanks very much for joining in the fun and learning! With warmth, love, and gratitude to you for sharing your gifts with so many –

so much information to take in, but I really resonated with the adrenals /thyroid connection, and how important they are to the overall wellbeing of a person….looking forward to learning so much more…thank you

Hi Tracy!! Wow wow you really know your stuff ! I hope someday to take your courses !!! I have been suffering from mycotoxin illness and this all ties into what you have been speaking about! It has taken me a year of research in my own and visiting many different doctors to get to the bottom of what I have and start getting better. It as you mentioned can trigger autoimmune. So many autoimmune conditions today and only functional
Medicine truly addresses the cause and any hope of rectifying it. I have also had high cortisol at one point and a sluggish thyroid so I loved what you spoke on tonite. I am in California and could not watch the video until 10:51 my time but I sure hope you will consider me for the drawing still. ❤️❤️ It! Thank you so much for your education.

This was awesome, thanks so much!! I’m learning so much about estrogen dominance—a concept I knew nothing about. I’m really starting to see the interconnectedness between low estrogen levels and thyroid functioning. This area is where I lack the most knowledge, but every time it’s discussed, I am able to incorporate and make sense of the various interplay’s. Your clear, concise language and examples bring the content to light. Thanks!!!

Thank you for the wonderful webinar! I had learned about how normal lab values could still not show what is really going on with the thyroid and other endocrine issues, but it was very revealing to learn about the reverse T3 and the interaction with T4, great information. Also, great to know how TSH is related to the brain and there could be issues with the thyroid even when this level is considered within “normal” limits. Thank you!

I learned that I have been reading my body right and that even though my labs were WNL my thyroid was out of range for me! Learning that TSH is a brain hormone and about reverse T3 were very helpful. I plan to replay this video and follow through on the suggestions that may be the best options I’ve heard in 20 years of dealing with hypothyroidism. I am hoping to take the full course at SAFM in 2018 for my own and my clients benefit!

Hi Tracy, thank you so much for that excellent lesson. I am a registered nurse and student Health Coach with IIN and very keen to start your next 101 class in January.

I found the statistic about being likely to develop other auto immune conditions within 3 years interesting and helpful to pass on as a great motivator for dealing with the current one.

Can I also say a huge thanks for the chance to listen to this after the live webinar, I tried to stay up but in Australia it started at 2am! So glad I saw the email just now 🙂

Hi Tracey, What particularly resonated with me was the connection between autoimmune disease and adrenals/thyroid. I was happy to hear you say that once someone was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, they would contract another autoimmune disease within 5 years. I have always believed that most autoimmune diseases have one root and until the root is taken care of there will be no healing, just a continual downhill into more disease. I also hadn’t thought about the thyroid being used for practically all body processes such as muscle firing, digestion, etc so I see it as even more important than I had before.

I would be thrilled to win the drawing and be able to do a deep dive with you. I am a Wellness Counsellor and Trainer, but my passion is with my yoga students. I am an ERYT 200. Everyone shares everything with their yoga teacher. I can be of help in some things, but am sorely lacking in other areas and I so much desire to help bring them out of chronic pain or issues into abundant life. Thanks Tracey for all you do.

This is such a fascinating topic! What resonated with me is the Free T3 is the most important marker and the drivers that impair the body’s ability to convert T4 to T3: nutrient deficiency, poor digestion, insufficient stomach acid, inflammation, toxins, infection, gut dysbiosis.
Thank you!

Great learning in driving cellular production and paying attention to sluggishness in all areas of the body.
I loved the part on brain fog and how it could have hormonal issues at the root. I have listened to many concerned clients about brain fog and this has helped me to consider this going forward.
The importance of protecting our immune system weighs big in my practice and listening to you laying out the path to successfully working with our clients is priceless. I can’t wait to learn more.

Great information!!! Really appreciate the ease at which you are able to explain all the intricacies of the hormone/thyroid connections.

Great video Tracy. It was like a class unto itself. I really appreciate your holistic view of healing the root cause vs treating the systemic problem. And I’m glad you mentioned that the adrenal glands are not a weak gland withering on the vine when not operating optimally. With so much information being transmitted about adrenal fatigue and exhaustion, it’s easy to be influenced to think the adrenals are anemic in nature. I was happy to hear this point of view because I think it gives hope to those who suffer. I liked your nugget about the Brazil nuts too. I had heard this before and forgotten about it. You’re a wealth of information and I’m so proud of all you’ve accomplished over the years. We’re lucky to have you as a resource.

I personally developed thyroid storm while recovering from a stem cell transplant. I went from hyper to hypo and have been on Synthroid ever since. I am not completely sure whether or not mine is autoimmune or not. I do have a small amount of antibodies but I also suffered from another autoimmune condition before I had my stem cell transplant, which my transplant knocked into remission. Perhaps my antibodies would have been even higher if I hadn’t had the transplant? These are things I am not certain about. So I am always happy to learn more about thyroid.

It was a great video today and thank you for teaching such great content in depth yet easy enough to understand. It was interesting to hear that thin menopausal/post-menopausal women may not have enough estrogen to prime the thyroid hormone receptors. And that there really is a sweet spot for estrogen levels.
Thanks again Tracy.

What a wealth of information! What resonated with me was that normal TSH doesn’t mean well functioning thyroid because TSH is a brain hormone. I learned about T4, RT3, conversion of T4 to T3 and the factors affecting its conversion. I’d love to dive deeper into this topic as thyroid issues run in my family.
