I’m an IIN graduate, just starting my health coaching practice.
I find your You through FB comments in IIN Alumni group 🙂
Thank you for this informative video lecture.
While all information in this video is priceless and so relevant
for me personally as a woman approaching menopause and
looking to my own lab work through holistic lenses, and of course
understanding and educating my clients too; But what stroke me
the most is when Tracy said that before going into sophisticated esoteric
testing we need to be expert in basic lab tests covert by insurance
which everybody routinely do as an annual check up.
Thank You Tracy!
Warm Hug from my Heart!!! ♥️❤️????

Loved everything. Going to take notes to put into my clinical journal. Loved the idea about stopping the cholesterol hate. Learned something in nearly every sentance. Helps take the sting out of yet another declination of taking me as a student for clinical experience.

Thank you for the great info! I love learning and am always impressed with Doctors who think outside the box! Knowledge and open mindedness is power for the future. As I always say to my friends and clients “Once you know better, you can do better” Thanks for taking the time to teach and get the word out! The world could use more people like you????

I learned that sluggish liver (suboptimal Alk. Phos) can contribute to elevated LDL. Thank you for the info.

Tracy, what are they ways to increase LDL in an elderly person (87 yo active with no complains)? I am concerned about it being too low at 89 with total 148. it suppose to increase with age – that was my understanding. Would liver issues (congestion) be something to look at. Is absence of gallbladder may play a role in this situation?
Thank you

I LOVED all of this webinar in it. My favorite pearl is the LDL information. I’m on the band wagon to tout the goodness of LDL. Your integration of normal body science and cause and effect are so easy to understand. I particularly liked your suggestion to focus on the conventional labs rather than go to the expensive ones first. It helps to know what conventional medicine does and how it is interpreted in order to educate the client.
Blessings to you and your entire staff.

I would love to know the difference between the bloodwork….Glucose, Sugar levels, A13.

Thank you very much for sharing your expertise with us. I did not realize that biotin could affect thyroid function test. Also the test on fasting insulin level is incredible how it relates to insulin resistance. I thought just doing fasting blood sugar test was enough.
Thanks for showing me how stress could affect one’s blood tests! You are excellent and very thorough! Thank you very much for sharing the information.
I really would love to attend the course 101 in January of next year and would appreciate it if you could please send me information on how to register for it.
Thanks again!
Emem.

I found it interesting that biotin affects thyroid lab results. I have never heard that anywhere else before. I also appreciated the ldl information. It’s really amazing (in a sad way) that many conventional doctors and specialists don’t know that high ldl in women can be from hypothyroidism. I discovered that link myself by doing my own research after my hematologist became concerned that I suddenly had high ldl, even with him knowing I have hypothyroidism. Even my family doctor has not indicated to me that he understands this correlation. Thanks again for all the great learning Tracy.

Thank you for the amazing amount of information. The biggest pearl for me was how taking Biotin can interfere with thyroid panel lab work. I hope I win!! Thanks again, Coral

Zinc not sink. LOL

One I love seeing how many different people were listening to the presentation that’s awesome in the middle of the day perfect but I think I would still go back to the simplicity of understanding about alkaline phosphatase and how much it is an indicator when it’s low that the body might be low in sink and if it’s high that the liver might be struggling to help the person clean the blood

Grateful for the information! Love getting the tips and pearls!
Never occurred to me the connection of being stressed before the blood draw – makes soooo much sense.
Connection of stress and elevated LDL in men and low thyroid in women –
Also, did not know that biotin is affecting the result of thyroid test – very interesting information.
Thank you Tracy! Wish I could take your program, you explain complex things so clearly!
Love it.

Wow! Just wow! I learned so much in under 1 hour! How much more in 6 months. Before the FB live, I did not know about stress and biotin affecting the labwork. Fasting insulin is new to me too as well as the ALP levels that are high but still within the reference range. My ALP has been getting higher to 105 but my doctor says it’s fine and they don’t do anything until it’s twice the value. I also have 1.69 TSH but lacking energy and advised that I’m fine. I also just got per diem job screening/coaching for corporate wellness and they too need a revolution in the screen lab work. I really would love to get into the course and get a good understand of the dynamics of dis-ease. Thank you for this myth busting webinar!

Great pearls, this helped solidify what I had heard regarding LDL, levels, men, stress and thyriod years ago from a holistic pharmacist. Thank you so much for sharing this information, especially with such ongoing discussion and so many pushed to be on statins. I can’t wait to attend all the courses.

My pearl today is that LDL is not bad and can be influenced by HYPOthyroid! I have been fighting a losing battle with these and my doctor for months! I know when I don’t feel right! I don’t need labs to tell me nothing is wrong when I can feel muscle weakness, fatigue and brain fog!
