Lots of practitioners participate in a lot of different advanced training programs. The real measure of benefit and success, of course, is not what you have studied but rather what you are able to DO with what you learn. I have seen many coaches frustrated with having invested in program after program that didn’t have the practical, clinical value and (more importantly!) the inspiration and hands-on support they needed to actually use the material to start being wildly successful.
SAFM has helped many coaches to transform their practices, their finances, and their future because it works. It is designed from the science and detailed practices that I and many other coaches have actually used in supporting hundreds of clients and building (and still keeping today!) a fully-loaded, six-figure health coaching business. Congratulations on completing your coaching training program! Since SAFM is a technical school that serves many healthcare modalities, we do not offer an array of explicit business coaching courses within our programs. Our focus and expertise is increasing functional medicine know-how and clinical competency in what you choose to work on with each specific client. What we see over and over again is that if we do a better job of wildly (vs. mildly) satisfying clients, then it becomes easy to build a practice based on qualified referrals from prior clients. There is a single “Practice Pearls” course included within the Semester program which reviews where to find new clients, how to maximize new client inquiries, and how to maximize people who say Yes! to your services during the initial consultation.
