Thanks so much for this valuable information!
I think I’d say that the most surprising piece is around how D in high doses can actually suppress immunity, and the importance of considering this before supplementing, and also if the autoimmune condition persists.

You mention supplementing with K2 along with D3 – what is the appropriate proportion of K to D, generally?
Should D, A and K be taken together, at the same time?
Thanks!!!

Thank you for another great webinar, Tracy. For me the biggest take away was the immuno

Wow! I was never aware of the Vitamin D /calcium connection as well as the interference of Vit A levels if using high doses of Vitamin D! Thank you so much for these pearls today! As a health coach who is focusing on Gut health in clients this is truly something I am glad I am aware of now and will go do more research on it and be able to incorporate the info into my clients cases. I have been looking at doing the Core Semester for a few months and I cannot wait to start it! Thanks Tracy!!

I am curious to know how the change in the amount of sun exposure we get from season to season affects our Vitamin D levels. Do our bodies naturally cycle with the changes, or should be routinely looking to supplement in low-sun seasons with food or other options?

Learned so much about the caution of Vit D being to high except in autoimmune activation. What would be your recommended RR for breast cancer?

I am so inspired by and grateful for your work! I am a current student of IIN and and I complete the course in June 2018. I do plan to further my education in this field and your school came very highly recommended, I sought you out on facebook, and have been following your posts and FaceBook LIVE informational videos. Thank you so much for providing this information in a shareable format so we can send to family and friends. This information is so very important and life altering!!!

Loved the Vitamin D pearls today! Biggest take away was effects of too high vitamin d levels in the immune system! Also very interested how that works in autoimmunity. Thanks!

What resonated with me was that the optimal range being 40-50 not the higher.

wow – learned so much today especially about the caution of driving Vit D too high except in the case of autoimmune activation. Total game changer in understanding Vit D. As always – learn so much. What would you recommend in terms of breast cancer – higher or more in the 40-50 range?

Hi Stacy,

This was my first live feed with you and it was very enlightening. I am currently enrolled in IIN and planning to take the AFM courses when I finish. I have heard and read wonderful things about your school. The discussion today was very interesting and eye opening for me. I have been on high dose Vitamin D therapy for over a year because my D level was around 12-15 an would no increase (I live in FL so sunshine is not an issue). This has given my a lot of great information and questions to ask not only for myself but also for my future clients as I move in to the field. Thank you for sharing your pearls of wisdom, it was a pleasure joining you today and I am excited to join the AFM family next year!

Too much of a good thing is a real thing! I have been recommending Vit D3 for all of my patients, but learning how Vit A and Vit K2 can work so synergistically with it is a great pearl. I would LOVE to be part of the SAFM family starting in January.

Thank you, I was not aware that Vit D needed adequate Vit A to work well, and that there is a connection between Vit D and estrogen, as well as that too much Vit D is not a good thing.

Thank you for the information on Vit D today. Lots of Pearls but some of the best were the information about taking Vit D with Vit K for women over 40 bc of concerns around bone density and also that there is potentially a connection with too much Vit. D and Hot Flashes. Also the information that the recommended levels are generally much higher than optimal. Thanks and excited to be entered to win the tuition!

Had no idea that Vitamin D does not work alone, so fascinating. Also had no idea it was a hormone, and used to actively supported the gut.

The most fascinating aspect for me was the correlation between vitamin D and autoimmune activation. I’m interested to learn more about the process of raising levels to 80-90 for a time and then lowering. I’d love to learn more about infections common with autoimmune activation.

Your information is top notch in this industry. I’m so appreciative of the time you give and the manner in which you teach.

I learned much about VitD in the live stream this afternoon HOWEVER I have never heard anyone talking about D as a hormone! That information (presented early in the discussion) is what intrigued me to listen further and learn much more.

Thanks!
